Thier first 6 a side tournament ended
in victory. The team won a full set of strips and their first
shield. Daniel was approached by a Darlington scout and offered
a 6 week trial. Some excellent football was seen against good
opposition. |

Entering the Condors under 9's into
a under 10's competition provided the boys with some strong
opposition. After winning their first 2 games their run came
to a halt against Wheatley Hill, whos goaly saved them many
times over. Had the match been based on good shots on target
a 10 - 3 win to the Condors would have been a fair result. However
it wasn't to be with an inspired performance by the opposition
keeper. Despite the countless un-awarded fouls against our team
they fought hard right to the final whistle. This tournament
provided a small taster of exactly what the Condors are capable
of. |
